Printing Help
Due to the large number of factors involving different software programs and printer settings, we are not able to offers templates for printing. Here's a quick and easy how to on using Microsoft Word to print your own invitations.
- Using a ruler, measure the length and width of the card you would like to print. Enter these dimensions as your document size in the set-up field. Be sure to specify the correct vertical or horizontal orientation.
- Using a ruler, measure the width of the borders. In the margins set-up field, enter the dimensions of the borders on all four sides.
- Typeset as you normally would.
- Print a sample on a plain white sheet of paper. This is important, because where it prints on the paper will give you information about how to set your printer settings. Most printers will print the text in the top center of the paper. Using this sample sheet, place it over the invitation you would like to print to check the alignment of your text.
- Continue to adjust settings on printer and text until you have it just right, and print!
